A Man of Many Faces: Frederick Bailey Deeming.

Featuring a compilation of Newspaper References.

Frederick Bailey Deeming, alias Williams and Baron Swanston – was linked to bigamy, larceny, murder and fraud. Deeming murdered two wives (that we know of) and four children, encasing them in cement beneath the hearths of fireplaces.

He was held at the Albany Convict Gaol before being transported to Melbourne to stand trial for the murder of his wife, Emily Mather.

The proceeds of this book go to supporting the Albany Historical Society and the upkeep of Patrick Taylor Cottage and the Albany Convict Gaol.
