The Celebrate 2026 Grand Ball is a once-in-a-lifetime event that will leave a lasting impact on our community and beyond. This extraordinary celebration honours not only the rich history of Albany/Kinjarling but also marks 200 years since the official proclamation of the town on 21 January 1827—a historic day when Albany/Kinjarling became the first European and Aboriginal settlement in Western Australia.

This momentous milestone offers a unique opportunity for us to come together and celebrate the deep cultural heritage of Albany/Kinjarling, as well as the people who have shaped its story over the centuries. The evening promises to be an unforgettable occasion—an elegant gathering steeped in history, culture, and community spirit.

Event Details
​We invite you to immerse yourself in a night of grandeur, where the refined elegance of the nineteenth century takes centre stage. Dress in the finest period attire — of majestic gowns and formal tailcoats of the era, each guest will step back in time and truly embody the spirit of the 1800s.
