Becoming a member of the Albany Historical Society helps us to maintain our attractions and to fulfill our mission statement to ‘provide leadership and co-ordination in promoting Albany’s heritage’. Your membership allows us to continue preserving our substantial collection of historical items of artefacts, artworks, photographs and archives.
As a member, you are entitled to:

Certain areas of AHS Online are restricted to members of the society.
Membership is open to anybody, subject to approval. More details, including current membership fees, can be found by clicking 'About membership'.
Due to a security breach, you are no longer able to login via PIN code, and will instead have to request an account by emailing online@historicalbany.com.au; this includes all existing members who previously had a username and password.

Membership is as low as $15 a year for single membership, and entitles you to receive copies of our quartlerly newsletter, free entry to the Albany Convict Gaol and Patrick Taylor Cottage and to access our new Online Members' Area.
The Online Members' Area allows members to browse our extensive (over 3500+) archive of paintings and photographs of Albany and surrounding regions from the past, as well as our newly digitised archive of magazines, featuring articles relating to Albany's history.
