Albany Historical Society would like to give our sincerest appreciation and gratitude to Rio Tinto for their generous funding of the gardening equipment to be used at Duke Street Park and the Albany Convict Gaol.

Rio’s community giving grants round has enabled the Society to replace and modernise its much-needed gardening machinery to maintain the grounds of our venues, thus enabling our volunteers and Work for the Dole participants to have access to modern, safe and reliable equipment.
